MOVIES
I'm looking for two movies to borrow if anyone has them: Weird Science, and Spies Like Us.
Now, here's my movie review:
I watched the greatly heralded "Orange County". Well, (maybe I need to watch it again, but...) I thought it was really boring. I didn't even watch the end because I fell asleep. on purpose.
Second, Lady in the Water. (I think that's what it's called, may be of the water.?) I actually liked this movie a lot. 1) great cast 2) it was very colorful in a strange way that i liked. I liked how the apartments were decorated, especially that old asian womans. 3) Mr. Heap was awesome.
It was cool how everyone came together to help the maiden narf. To find out what their role in the story was adventurous and of great consequence.
Stay tuned, there is more to come. I will be reviewing two more movies this week.

You probably wouldn't like most my movies, you might try "love song for Bobby Long" or "Wicker Park" next time.
Orange County is my favorite comedy of that type, I have quite a few darker comedies I would consider better, but don't think you'd like them.
That's funny you mentioned love song for bobby long. i hate that movie. :)
I thought it had good potential but was pretty boring.
I'll have to try wicker park next time.
I have a few movies too if you want to go through my collection... including the first 4 seasons of Scrubs... yeah, I bought them.
And... we defiantly need to do another movie/food night, we should do a collab with Zane's tribe and have a grand soiree.
Thanks for the advice on OC. It's good to know that it's an aquired taste and that I'm not just defunked. I'm a lot more than that! just kidding. I would LOVE to go through your movies. I'm trying to get in one a day. Today i watched The Prestige. I thought it was good... captivating, interesting,,etc. I came away from it a little puzzled though. The end, the "prestige" of the movie, was weird-- a little far fetched. What I got was that lots of electricity = cloning.. that just doesn't jive with my perception of reality i guess. sends a red flag.
That would be awesome to have the grand soiree with the tribe of Zane. I learned that word from the water lady movie.
So which nite is it? Thurs or Fri?

Prestige is good, I see a lot of movies with ideas that don't really make sense, I think the contraption is mysterious for a reason, so it doesn't become stupid. If I told you splitting an atom could cause a chain reaction that formed a nuclear explosion it wouldn't make much sense if you didn't know what an atom was or how it was done or know it really works. Anyways, what I just said may not make much sense leaving me look stupid, but next time you're over you should check out the cloning machine in my basement.
I'm kinda busy this week, but a late start on Thurs. might work...probably have to be at the jeff/linc tribal headquarters. Adams Ave. might be able to represent then. What movie?

So Zane do you want to do dinner/movie w/ me and anyone else this thursday or friday? Maybe "PHILLIP" can hang since SHAWN has to WORK. or something. I don't know.
